Always great fun to go to Red Dirt's open house. This year I met Shanti and pc there and we did all the studios. Tho we were disappointed Washington Glass school looked like they were having a class and the doors were closed. Ellyn Weiss (who had some paintings in Novie's studio Flux) and I reminisced about taking Sheep Jones' encaustic class at WGS years ago. What a great experience that was...

- You should have opened the door to the Glass School and come in! It was indeed open - the class was scheduled to allow visitors to look at a class in action. We had heaps of visitors - the Washington Post Xpress was covering the class Crystal from NIH , lampworking artist Liz Mears, Nationa Capitol Art Glass President (NCAGG) Pat Arnold talked the glass organization. The Glass School will also have Holiday Open House on its own December 15, from 2 - 6 pm
